Prior to joining Merchant Mr. Winters was with Hilldun Corporation, a New York based commercial finance company. At Hilldun he built up their newly formed factoring division and his responsibilities included procuring new business, making advances and maintaining the client relationship.
While at Merchant, Mr. Winters lead a dynamic marketing team which became a major force in Merchant’s market place. He has grown the factoring volume which has more than doubled in the past 5 years. In addition to his marketing efforts, Mr. Winters remains active in maintaining client relationships. Much of his time outside of sales and marketing is spent with the clients. He does a great deal of consulting and advising with concerns they may have about their business.
Adam Winters graduated from Ithaca College with a B.S. in Finance. He is extremely active in various financial clubs and organizations in New York and New Jersey. He is a member of the Garden State Credit Club, Empire Credit Club, Checkmates Credit Club, CFA in NY and NJ, as well as an officer of the Contemporary Credit Club.
Neville GrusdMr. Grusd has been in the finance and banking industries since 1982. He has substantial experience in asset-based lending, factoring and international trade finance and was Chief Lending Officer of an FDIC member bank.
His international background in finance, accounting and business is of great assistance to clients in structuring credit facilities to satisfy their needs.
Mr. Grusd is a Director and active member of the Executive Committee of the Commercial Finance Association (CFA) and is former chairperson of its Committee on Cooperation with Accountants. He has chaired panels at CFA seminars and written numerous articles for The Secured Lender.
Mr. Grusd emigrated from South Africa in 1978 where he was a partner in a public accounting firm and was president of a public company in the apparel and toy industries.
Neville Grusd is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Cape Town and is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa). Mr. Grusd was an Associate Professor of Accounting at CW Post, Long Island University and is co-author of the textbook Advanced Accounting.
He is active in the New York State Society Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and was recently its treasurer. He has been a director and member of the Executive Committee of NYSSCPA for several years and was chairperson of various Committees, including the Industry Division Oversight Committee and he also serves on The Editorial Board of The CPA Journal and has written articles for this publication as well as The Journal of Accountancy. Mr. Grusd is the recipient of the NYSSCPA’s 1996/ 1997 FAE Outstanding Discussion Leader Award and the 2000 Outstanding CPA in Industry Award.
Mr. Grusd also serves on the User Council of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).
Albert CamhiAlbert Camhi joined the company in July, 1998 as Senior Vice President in charge of factoring. Al has been in the factoring industry for over 49 years. He started his business career with Commercial Factors Corp., a C.I.T. Financial subsidiary, in 1957. After a series of promotions he was named General Credit Manager in 1982. In 1983, he was named Executive Vice President of Wm. Iselin & Co., another factoring unit of C.I.T. Financial, and was subsequently named President and Chief Executive Officer. In 1984, he returned to Meinhard Commercial Corp. as President and C.E.O. until 1985. Al then joined Republic Factors Corp., a subsidiary of Republic New York Corporation, as Senior Vice President/ Account Executive. He was responsible for a factoring portfolio of clients whose volume was in excess of $1 billion annually. In 1993, he was named the Account Officer responsible for day to day administration of Merchant Factors, when it became a client of Republic Factors Corp. After 13 years with the Republic organization, he joined Merchant Factors Corp. in July, 1998.
Craig MillerCraig Miller is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, with a BA in Economics. Craig has 19 years experience in the banking and factoring industries. He recently started his fourth year with Merchant Factors Corp. He is responsible for developing new business for all three divisions of the company.
Prior to working at Merchant Factors, Craig spent the first five years of his career at Nations Bank, working in the credit department. From there he went to an international bank as a commercial lender, dealing with importers and exporters. Craig spent the next ten years working for large factoring institutions as a New Business Representative. Craig is a member of the Contempory Credit and Checkmate Credit clubs.
Donald NunnariDonald Nunnari is a graduate of the St. Bonaventure University, with a BS in Finance. Mr. Nunnari has over 25 years experience in factoring in Los Angeles. He oversees the portfolio and manages new business for Merchant Factors West Coast Office. Prior to joining Merchant, Mr. Nunnari spent 15 years as a Senior Marketing Officer at Republic Factors and HSBC Business Credit.
He is past President of The Textile Professional Group, and a member of the Commercial Finance Conference of California. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Textile Chapters of the City of Hope and National Jewish Hospital.
